season five, but not the specials.Anyway, think Donna for a second. Remember the shrill harpy of "The Runaway Bride" that a lot of fans didn't like? And then she redeemed herself in "Partners in Crime", turning her into (one of my) favorite companions.I mean, sure River Song might be a timelord in human form like the master, but I doubt they would do this again. But back of the Donna thing, we may end up liking River Song. I personally don't like her character right now, but still...The couple thing is a tad confusing. She caressed his face and she whispered her name in his ear. I'm not sure if this theory had been said yet since I just skimmed the comments, but that reminded me of when the doctors double whispered in Rose ear. Maybe he didn't say "I love you" maybe he said his name and maybe that is the way timelords show love. Of course, we knew Romana's name but she was a time lady, it's probably a different thing. "There is only one time I ever could" sort of ties in with this, and I doubt he told her just to get her to trust him.But Agreeing with the person would said it would tarnish the whole Rose storyline. I am sick of all the romancy stuff in Doctor Who. There is a a reason everybody liked Tom Baker: He never kissed anyone! (In fact, the first kiss in Doctor Who( Not including the aztec flirting from the first doctor, they never kissed) was a quick peck on the cheek from Nyssa to the fifth doctor, then the eight doctor and Grace something, then- Okay I am straying off topic, sorry.Even though I depise Rose (Sorry to all you shippers) it would seem like the Doctors relationship was forgotten if he actually became a couple with River Song. I doubt they get "Married" but, wow it is confusing! Maybe they don't even have a relationship at all and River Song just really cares for him deeply as a friend. But I will stick with my theory and hope for the best. Can't wait till season five!
